Realtors Home & Garden Show

The nation’s longest-running home and garden show kicks off its 100th year this weekend at the Wisconsin State Fair Park Exposition Center, 8200 W. Greenfield Ave., West Allis. The annual landscaping, gardening and home improvement show features inspiration for outdoor living with seven landscape displays. Highlights include water features and plantings, outdoor kitchens, fire pits, pergolas, hardscaping trends, and a garden center stage for culinary and consumer seminars.

Stroll the garden promenade for design tips, attend presentations by gardening experts and learn how to create healthy indoor environments. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. March 20 and 21, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 22. The show resumes March 25 and concludes March 29.

Milwaukee County Historical Society Family Day

Transportation is the theme from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 21 at the Milwaukee County Historical Society, 910 N. King Drive. Explore the science of flight and machines that move. Learn how planes, trains, cars and boats have shaped Milwaukee, with activities and displays from the Milwaukee Fire Museum, Dream Bikes, East Troy Electric Railroad Museum and Peine Family Lego.

Spring Fling at Betty Brinn

Join the spring play day from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 21 at the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum, 929 E. Wisconsin Ave. Meet bunnies and chicks from Havens Petting Farm, create handprint flowers, decorate a pair of bunny ears, and join in the Bunny Hop with live cello music from Malik Johnson. Art in the Burg Fine Art Fair

More than 70 local and regional artists will gather from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 21 for a juried art fair in Cedarburg. View jewelry, ceramics, paintings, sculpture, fiber art and more, all for sale to the public. Bid on silent auction items donated by the artists and enjoy student performances and art displays.

There also will be a kids arts and crafts table, and food and refreshments available. All funds raised will benefit the arts programs at Cedarburg High School. Admission $5.

WMSE Rockabilly Chili

Add some heat to the weekend with chili sampling from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 22 at the Milwaukee School of Engineering's Kern Center, 1245 N. Broadway. Admission is $20 at the door and includes four chili samples, with additional samples available for purchase. Sample from more than 40 recipes prepared by Milwaukee restaurants, cafés and caterers.

Final weekend of the Train Show

The “Modern Wonders” train show will take its final run in the Show Dome this weekend. The miniature expedition to the Seven Modern Wonders of the World will be pulling out of the station after March 22. Admission is $10 for adults; $9 for Milwaukee County residents; and $6.50 for resident seniors 60+, students, and children ages 3 through 12.

“Dhurandhar: The Revenge”: Indian Hindi-language spy action thriller follows an undercover agent infiltrating criminal syndicates and political power structures in Pakistan. See it at AMC Mayfair Mall.
