Top tributes to Dolly Parton, Michael Jackson and Spice Girls bound for Newcastle

If when it comes to a night out, you love nothing more than seeing a top tribute to a music icon, you're in luck. As a trio of highly rated soundalikes are bound for Newcastle over the next few months to take over a well known venue right in the centre of town. And fans of Michael Jackson, Spice Girls and Dolly Parton will most definitely want to clear their diaries as 'unforgettable' nights of entertainment are being promised when they arrived at Newcastle city centre cabaret spot Boulevard .

A place that has been rated the number 1 night in Newcastle for years now, Boulevard can be relied on all year round to deliver one hell of a show and, in a break between their spring and summer shows, tributes will be taking the spotlight. First up on Thursday, April 30 is the Forever Jackson tribute to the star regarded by many to be the King of Pop. After the crowd is warmed up by former X Factor star and local singing diva Abi Garrido, they can expect all the hits from the Jacko back catalogue, like Man in the Mirror, Smooth Criminal and Bad.

Next up on Saturday, May 9 is Viva with their tribute to the Spice Girls. As rumours swirl that the 30th anniversary tour of the Girl Power icons won't be happening, the next best thing will arrive in Newcastle, with Viva singing all the hits from Baby, Ginger, Posh, Scary and Sporty. And then the final date for tributes at Boulevard is The Dolly Parton Story on Friday, May 15 - a must for country music fans who want to singalong to classics like Jolene, I Will Always Love You and, of course, 9 to 5.
