Kintyre signs deal to acquire outdoor advertising firm OOH Media
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Kintyre Holdings (JA) Limited said on Wednesday it has signed a binding agreement to acquire 100 per cent of OOH Media Services Limited, an outdoor advertising and branding company, as it moves to expand its media operations ahead of a planned initial public offering.
The company said OOH Media’s operations will be integrated into its subsidiary Visual Vibe upon completion of the transaction. Visual Vibe currently operates a digital out-of-home advertising platform.
Kintyre said the acquisition would add traditional outdoor advertising and branding capabilities to Visual Vibe’s digital offering, allowing the combined business to provide integrated advertising services across both formats.
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Tyrone Wilson said the deal is intended to strengthen the company’s market position and expand its client base, while boosting production capacity.
The integration is expected to generate operational synergies and increase output within the media segment, the company said, adding that it plans to invest in additional production infrastructure to support higher demand.
Kintyre also noted that the move comes as it prepares for a planned listing of Visual Vibe and follows ongoing strategic investment discussions involving Portland Holdings.
The transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to be completed in the near term.
Kintyre said it will provide further updates as the deal progresses.
