World Indoors: Demario Prince and Jerome Campbell into 60m hurdles semis

Demario Prince and Jerome Campbell made progress to the semi-finals of the men’s 60m hurdles on Saturday’s second day of the World Athletics Indoor Championships at Kujawsko-Pomorska Arena in Toruń, Poland.

Prince won his first round race in 7.58 seconds while Campbell was third in his race in 7.67 seconds, both advancing automatically to the next round set for the afternoon session.

Prince, who was third at the NCAA Division 1 Indoor championships last weekend, beat Italy’s Lorenzo Ndele Simonelli (?7.65 seconds) and Jonas Kolomaznik of Czechia (7.72 seconds).

Campbell grabbed his spot while finishing behind France’s Wilhem Belocian who ran 7.49 seconds and Milan Trajkovic of Cyprus, 7.66 seconds.
