Eighth grader from Minot wins ND State Spelling Bee

Chilaka Ugobi, an 8th grader at Our Redeemer’s Christian School (Minot) in Ward County, was declared the champion at the 2026 North Dakota State Spelling Bee, held on Monday, March 23 at the Bismarck Event Center.
