Carty was thrown from the bike with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office confirming she was not wearing a helmet.
She was an experienced motorcyclist, with her last post on Facebook sharing a throwback to her second motorcycle in 2007.
“I had a 600 Ninja for two years before this and I have no pictures of it anywhere. #Crazy I ain’t new to this,” she shared in the post.
