KINGSTON, Jamaica — Nia Robinson finished fifth in the women’s long jump with 6.75m on Sunday’s final day of the World Athletics Indoor Championships at Kujawsko-Pomorska Arena in Toruń, Poland.
The 24 year-old who was making her debut at a senior global championships had gradually improved on her first three attempts and was among the top six that contested the final round.

Robinson whose personal best of 6.82m set earlier this year makes her the fifth best Jamaican woman in the event, jumped 6.50m on her opening round, improved to 6.53m in the second before a big improvement to 6.75m in the third round that saw her move up to fourth place at the time.
