Train horns too noisy? The Boise area is set to get its first railroad quiet zone
People stop to look at a train engine outside of the Boise Depot, Sunday, April 13, 2025. The depot opened in 1925 for the Union Pacific Railroad. Today, the building is no longer used as a train depot, but is used for community events, weddings and meetings.
