According to the unions, the government is "imposing a heavy burden" on minimum wage earners, workers, the poor, and fixed-income earners, and is the main cause of the current crisis. The unions emphasized their determination to continue mass actions and stated their intention to defy strike bans in specific locations by resorting to civil disobedience. The call also includes an appeal to all citizens and "true patriots" to join the protest.

Residents are advised to consider potential disruptions to public services and transport in Nicosia and central areas during the morning hours, as well as to avoid the area around the Parliament until the gathering ends. Official statements from the unions and local authorities will provide additional information.
