ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls Athletics Championships (Photo: Garfield Robinson) Latest News, Sports March 27, 2026 #Champs2026: JC’s Heirs wins Class 3 long jump with dramatic final round effort KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica College’s Nathan Neil Heirs produced a final round personal best 6.37m (1.1m/s) to snatch the gold medal from Kingston College’s Joel Patrickson on Friday’s penultimate day of the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls Athletics Championships at the national stadium. Patrickson took over the lead midway the competition with 6.11m (1.8m/s) but Heirs produced his best, beating his previous best of 6.16m to take the gold. Titchfield High’s Romario Franklyn was third with 5.99m (-0.4m/s).
