With the win, the Jamaican starlet achieved a second consecutive Under-20 girls sprint double title at the regional meet after retaining her 100m title on Saturday’s opening day. A week earlier, she ran 22.36 seconds to win the Class 1 200m at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls Athletics Championships to break Briana Williams’ 22.50 seconds national junior record set in 2018.
