KINGSTON, Jamaica – A 22-year-old music producer has been charged after allegedly threatening a man at gunpoint.
Assault at common law (firearm) and possession of a prohibited weapon charges have been laid against Kimani Williams, otherwise called ‘Bang’ following an incident on Bombay Avenue, Meadowbrook Estate, Kingston 19, on March 23.

Reports from the Duhaney Park police are that about 11:00 am, a man was riding his bicycle along the roadway when Williams, who had allegedly threatened to kill him on several occasions, again threatened to kill him before chasing him to his yard.
Police say after the incident, Williams approached the man again, showed him a firearm, and threatened him. The man ran to escape injury and then made a report to the police.
The accused man turned himself in to the police on Monday, March 30, where he was charged following a question-and-answer session in the presence of his attorney.
His court date is being finalised.
