The Chicago Board of Elections said it saw about 16.11% citywide turnout by midday. “What we’ve been seeing is a nice, safe, smooth Election Day,” Max Bever, director of public information for the Board of Elections, said. “Dare I say a bit boring?” Polls close at 7 p.m.
