My Point of View: Affordable health care for rural residents must be a priority

I was born six weeks early at Naeve Hospital in 1978. My lungs were not fully developed, and I had a hole in my heart. A pastor quickly baptized me before an ambulance rushed me to Rochester. The doctors and nurses at St. Mary’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit saved my life.
