If there is one thing that we can discuss about Zsa Zsa Padilla, it’s that she has made it this far in the world of entertainment and show business industry because she knows what it takes and has what it takes to become a mainstay.
According to reports by the Philippine Entertainment Portal, or Pep.ph for short, ASAP–a Sunday variety show aired on ABS-CBN Network—decided not to let go of “Divine Diva” Zsa Zsa Padilla. The report was written on December 5 and claimed that before the singer actress went to the city of Cebu for the long weekend so that she may get special training on farming, she first met up with her management team.
This is where they made it extremely clear that the actress was not going anywhere and that she will remain as part of the long running weekly musical variety show, ASAP.
Zsa Zsa Padilla has been performing for the said musical variety show for 20 years already. Some artists are simply on rotation and have been given new segments for the show.
The thing with the Divine Diva is that, not only is she an established and a talented performer, she also has several awards as an actress and has since gained popularity and a proper fan base who continue to give her a down pour of support in every endeavour that she wishes to pursue.
ASAP remains to be the premiere musical variety platform of ABS-CBN Kapamilya network and intends to keep their most premium artists—like Zsa Zsa Padilla—as part of their program.
The reports of the Divine Diva losing her premium surfaced yesterday and was also addressed by her daughter Karylle who disclosed a few details about it during the launching of her latest single titled “It’s Christmas Time.”
According to ABS-CBN News, Karylle was quoted saying, “Hindi ko nga alam ang present status, kasi may mga kaganapan na hindi pa [final], and I can’t say kasi hindi pa siya tapos. So wait-wait lang siguro tayo kung ano ang mangyayari,” she said.
During her interview then, she remained very positive towards the situation and even disclosed that Zsa Zsa Padilla was doing well.
“Actually siya nga ang nag-su-support sa akin, e. Hindi ko naman naisip na may problem or anything. Wala naman, kasi she’s okay, she just came from Cebu, she did like a crash course on farming. She’s been in to it since the whole of last year,” she said.
